ONE LANDSCAPE is the sister organization of the Shillim Institute. ONE LANDSCAPE was founded by Margie Ruddick, a landscape planner and designer known for her innovative approach to conservation, and Martin Brody, a distinguished composer, professor of music, and arts activist. We approach conservation as a creative act, shifting the culture of conservation from one that objectifies nature to one that understands humans as integral to natural systems.

We bring individuals, institutions, policymakers, and communities together to integrate art, science, policy, and community into the process of conserving wild landscapes.
